Spring Regatta
May 14 - 15, 2022
On behalf of the Lake Yosemite Sailing Association, we would like to invite you to LYSA's 24th Annual Spring Regatta. This two-day event will consist of a total of five or more races (wind allowing), with three or more races on Saturday and the remainder on Sunday. There will be a Skippers meeting at 1000 Saturday on the clubhouse patio. The first warning horn will be at 1100 Sat and Sun. Trophies will be presented on Sunday after the last race.

The scoring will be the low point system. All races will be sailed under current U.S. Racing Rules of Sailing and the Sailing Instructions. This Regatta is open to centerboards, keelboats, and multihulls. Non one design keel will race under NorCal PHRF time on time and non one design centerboards/multi-hulls/applicable sportboats under Portsmouth D-PN. Fleets will be decided by entries received by April 30. Five boats or more will constitute a one design fleet. Fleets will not necessarily receive their own start.
Pre-registration deadline is April 30th, 2022. Skippers may also register on Saturday, May 14th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the registration table. Course sheets and sailing instructions will also be provided in the race packet at the registration table. Sailing Instructions will be posted on our website by May 13th.
We have a wide launch ramp with long floating fingers on both sides. There are a limited number of slips for use over the weekend. Inquire at the clubhouse. Boats may be stored on trailers in the parking lot over night.
You may camp in your RV at the club or set up a tent on the Clubhouse lawn. No hookups are available. Security will be provided on Friday and Saturday nights for boats and trailers in the parking lot. A list of motels is available upon request. Sorry, pets are not allowed in the park.
Dinner is scheduled for Saturday evening at the Clubhouse. Dinner tickets can be purchased with your pre-registration or at the registration table on Saturday. We strongly encourage preregistration and it would be greatly appreciated. A Saturday lunch will also be available. Trophies will be based on how many pre-entries we get, and it will make it easier on our kitchen crew.
Registration: $35 (on or before April 30th) $50 (After April 30th)
Saturday Night Dinner: $15 (Adults) $6 (Children 12 and under)
Saturday Lunch: $10
